The goal of Backlog Refinement is to be prepared for the upcoming sprints.

When a fault or unintended behavior is found in functionality that has already been accepted and released, it is registered as a bug on the Product Backlog, so it can be prioritized (and fixed).

An epic is a means to describe a larger user goal or business goal, that will be further developed in multiple user stories. Linking the user stories to the epic, gives insight in the context and progress of the epic. Epics are used to make a high level planning.

Milestones are used to track progress toward a specific goal or event.

Vlaai, also known as Limburgse vlaai, is a pie or tart consisting of a pastry and filling. Vlaai is usually 26—31 centimeters in diameter. It is a typical product from the provinces of Limburg found both in the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as the parts of Germany just across the border.
